How do I change my home loan repayment amount?

Direct Debit

If you have set up a Direct Debit for your repayment, it will be set for the minimum repayment amount.

You can pay extra by setting up a regular payment transfer from your Australian Miliary Bank account (or an external account) to your home loan account using the BSB and account number.

If your variable interest rate increases: Your repayment will be automatically changed. If you would like to pay a higher amount to pay your loan off sooner, you can set up a regular payment transfer within internet or mobile banking for the additional amount.

If your variable interest rate decreases: Your repayment will not automatically reduce to the new amount. To reduce your repayment to the minimum amount, please send us a Secure Mail message via digital banking with your loan account details and instructions to adjust your repayments to the minimum amount and our team will be happy to assist. Alternatively, you can continue to pay the higher amount to help pay your loan off sooner.

Payment Transfer

You can set up a regular payment transfer from your Australian Miliary Bank account (or an external account) to your home loan account using the BSB and account number for the minimum repayment amount. Please remember if/when the interest rate changes and we advise you of a change in your minimum repayments, you will need to manually adjust your regular payment transfer.
