How do I earn bonus interest with my Online Saver account?
In order to earn bonus interest, on your Online Saver, you must meet the following two conditions.
- No withdrawals during the calendar month, and
- The account balance must be under $500,000.
Interest calculation
Interest is calculated daily and posted monthly.
If the balance on your account exceeds $500,000, you will not earn bonus interest on the balance above the threshold. For example, if you have an account balance of $520,000 your bonus interest calculation will be based on the maximum amount of $500,000 only. You will continue to earn the standard interest rate on the total balance.

Your account statement will display 2 separate interest line items:
- Standard interest calculation; and
- Bonus interest calculation (where applicable).
